Fatally Flawed

I purchased and installed this app on my iPhone 4 and iPad 3gen, both with the latest o/s. i made test recordings which was straightforward. However, on both devices the app couldnt be stopped as after exiting there remained a red notice bar indicating it was still active.

I deleted the app from both devices.
